USLI is seeking candidates with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in the insurance industry (agency preferred) who are looking for an opportunity to transition from a sales or customer service role into underwriting. Candidates must be able to project the “USLI Experience” by providing excellent service through interacting with Customers and responding to their requests for a telephone quote. This position requires a positive and friendly attitude, a high service mindset, strong verbal communication skills, and problem solving capabilities. The ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment is required. Candidates will ask appropriate underwriting questions, enter the caller’s responses into our rating systems and generate a quote. Training will focus on insurance product and underwriting knowledge, team processes and workflows as well as various computer applications supporting our business. We are seeking candidates for two different shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00 am- 5:00 pm EST and Monday-Friday 12:00-8:00 pm EST.
