Job Description
This position is dedicated to maintaining and developing technical solutions for Apogee, Gateway Specialty and Gateway Underwriters Agency which are all subsidiaries of USLI.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Work with a high-performance team in designing/implementing technical solutions for agency operations
• Develop and improve the data integrations between the AIM Policy Management system and various customer technical platforms
• Ability to take on a work leadership role with both interpersonal and technical skills required to communicate progress
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders, team leaders, customers and other developers to design, implement and maintain systems to support Gateway Consolidated agency operations and customers
• Follow the system architect direction on design solutions
• Can work independently and make decisions effectively
• Utilize common components and follow architectural standards
• Utilizes a deep understanding of Object Oriented principles in designing and developing solutions
• Proficient knowledge of the .NET framework and understanding of architecture and system design standards
• Demonstrates innovative thinking to solve technology issues as well as the ability to solve complex problems
• Periodic review of job queue working with team leaders to prioritize work load.
• Work with team leaders to establish targets for completion and status reports
• Make deadlines and commitments
• Gain and maintain a moderate level of insurance knowledge of all products in Company’s book of business.
• Enroll in courses and self-study to keep up with new technologies and new developments in the software development field; collaborate with peers.
• Use individual development plan
• Enroll and complete continuing education programs in both Professional and Personal Development as outlined in annual Training and Development Plan

College degree/technical certifications or equivalent industry/technical experience. Individual has a minimum of 8+ years of software development experience.
Specific Skills: ASP/ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Object Oriented Design/Development, JavaScript/jQuery/jSON, Angular, HTML 5, SQL Server, SQL/XML, Emerging Microsoft technologies
Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Some overtime work as needed.
