Job Description




Position Summary:

Responsible for creating reports from data in order to assist the organization in business decisions and insurance department reporting.



Essential Functions:

1. Collect and gather data using SQL, R&R Report Writer, Crystal Reports

2. Assist the Accounting Team in Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End Closing Processes 

3. Support the Accounting Compliance Team in reporting and state filings  

4. Organize and maintain data tables in an effort to maximize reporting processes and minimize errors

5. Communicate with internal staff as needed in order to solve problems and attend to ad-hoc requests

6. Responsible for reconciling data results for accuracy



Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist on special projects as necessary
  2. Participate in personal continuing education as defined by leadership (Personal Development Plan)
  3. Work well in team environment by maintaining a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:       Bachelors degree or significant business experience

Experience:

Experience in SQL Data Extraction, Crystal Reports, and Excel is required
Accounting experience or coursework preferred but not required
