Job Description

The role of a Business Technology Quality Analyst requires an individual to work within a small team of other Business Technology Quality Analysts and Developers to plan, test and implement changes into our systems.  This person is accountable and responsible for developing expertise in underwriting and/or other areas of the insurance business in order to effectively apply our testing methodology to safeguard our underwriting integrity and support business needs.  In this capacity, an individual will develop and execute test plans that reflect general and project specific scenarios, the impact of workflows and processes, and the systems we use.

The successful candidate has strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-makings skills as well as the ability to effectively challenge and offer creative solutions to ensure the desired outcome is implemented efficiently and accurately in a scalable way.  In addition this person enjoys working in a team environment, has demonstrated effective communication skills, and has the ability to independently prioritize work and to adapt quickly to changing business needs.  College Degree or equivalent insurance and/or testing experience required, AINS, RPLU or CPCU preferred; CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level), a plus.
