Job Description

The Graphic Designer creates print and digital assets for our insurance products and services, career opportunities, employee benefits and resources, nonprofit and community outreach initiatives, training classes and programs plus special company events.

A successful candidate will strategically design to drive audience engagement/acquisition on our websites, social media platforms, communications and in-person meetings/events, as well as build brand and company culture awareness.

The Graphic Designer will create branding assets and guidelines, original illustrations and photographs, infographics, motion graphics, marketing collateral and advertisements, training materials/manuals, business documents, forms and applications. Software applications to be used to create these include but are not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, MailChimp, Microsoft Outlook, WordPress plus HTML and CSS coding.

In addition, the Graphic Designer must be able to communicate clearly with their leaders and teams about project and task statuses, issues and solutions. A successful candidate will have a forever-student mentality and passion for professional/personal development. The Graphic Designer Designer will fulfill that education by taking training courses on LinkedIn Learning and attending conferences/webinars in addition to required internal training classes.

Minimum requirements: 2-3 years of relevant business/industry experience working for either a creative agency or company. Portfolio samples required with resume. Intermediate proficiency of Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (Lightroom and After Effects are pluses). PowerPoint intermediate level. Creation of Adobe Forms and other online form tools. HTML and CSS troubleshooting proficiency preferred. Familiarity requesting print production quotes and services.
