Information Security Engineer

Job Description
Design, implementation, configuration, and monitoring of various technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint security, data classification, and network access control

Migrate appropriate security technologies and processes to the Microsoft Cloud

Engagement with operational, development, and business teams to determine security needs and collaboratively complete initiatives

Automation: Utilize orchestration and automation tools to automate appropriate proactive and reactive security decisions

Log analysis and triage: Review of security events to determine action items and prioritization thereof.

Audit and compliance: Produce documentation in support of Company audit and compliance requirements.

Validation and remediation: Review reports such as penetration tests, validate findings, and assist in remediation of the findings. 

Vulnerability assessment: Assist in execution of vulnerability assessment and patch management plans.

Public cloud security: Design and implementation of public cloud security products, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services

Research and development: Identify emerging or alternative technologies and/or processes which could be beneficial to the Company.

Continuing education: Engage in continuing technical education efforts, as well as learning the business of insurance in order to complement and enhance technical skill sets.

Working Hours:  9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Some overtime work as needed.
