Statutory Analyst Support Team Member – Entry Level

Job Description

Assist in the support of the daily workflow and operations of the Underwriting Services Team to ensure quality and timely compliance within established service promises.      

Essential Functions:

  1. Review state regulations, policy provisions, and company guidelines to process accurate notices of non-renewal and conditional renewal at the request of our underwriting department.

  2. Promote excellent customer relations through direct and indirect contact (both via telephone and email correspondence).

  3. Handle customer inquiries and service issues professionally and within company established standards.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Update status of policies in issuance systems as applicable. 

  2. Review and distribute incoming Underwriting Services Team mail to appropriate Statutory Analyst within service promise.

  3. Perform any miscellaneous tasks and projects as delegated.

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:                  Bachelors degree or High School diploma with some business experience.

Specific Skills:            Strong organization, verbal and written skills.

Detail oriented; able to work in a fast paced environment.

Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Good communication/interpersonal skills.

Proficient keyboard skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
