You will be an analytical and creative problem solver to offer support to the rest of Claims. Claims offers on-going challenges, even for the most experienced professional, as every claim is unique, providing new opportunities to learn and grow. We welcome our ongoing interaction with underwriting, compliance and actuarial to keep our products healthy.
Essential Functions include: Administrative Assistant will assist leadership with setting up meetings, interviews and other duties in an efficient manner. They will assist Subrogation team members with restitution and notice of subrogation letters. Administrative Assistants will also assist the Medicare team with Medicare claimant searches, reporting and other correspondence to federal/state agencies, counsel and/or other parties. They will complete monthly and weekly reports via Excel as well as manage and update litigation management document spreadsheets. Administrative Assistants are responsible for managing Guidewire Contact Manager and Claims Center records. They will locate reports, invoices or other documents and place file documents in folders (motions, trial information, etc.) when needed. They will research and evaluate panel counsel rate adjustments. They will assist with scheduling of and attend claim roundtables, panel counsel meetings, underwriting meetings and team meetings. They will assist with the coordination and organization of 12+ hours of adjuster continuing education per year which is approved by Florida Insurance Department. They will assist with the coordination of other relevant legal training seminars for claims, underwriting, and customer attendance. They will complete special projects assigned by Litigation Management Team Leader, Litigation Management Specialists, Subrogation Specialists and/or Medicare Specialist.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Special Projects: Complete special projects assigned by leadership; maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters to which they have access; continuing Education: Attend educational seminars and conferences. Enroll and complete continuing education programs for both professional and personal development as outlined in annual Training and Development Plan.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Business experience in an office setting.
Experience: Competency in Excel is essential.

Strong oral and written communication skills
Highly organized and efficient; able to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Professional and comfortable interfacing with leader team and peers
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel (data input, mechanical aspects work, formulas, functions, tables, ranges, data formatting), PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe.
