Job Description

Job Responsibilities Include

  • Manage all aspects of property and casualty rate, rule, and form filings.
  • Prepare and submit filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track team members' filing activity and prioritize workflow accordingly.
  • Negotiate approvals with state insurance departments.
  • Review state objections and propose responses in collaboration with team members, underwriting, and actuarial departments.
  • Update endorsements to comply with state regulations.
  • Serve as a company resource for inquiries regarding new filings and the status of pending or approved filings.
  • Create and maintain the State Filing Department’s procedure manual and related materials.
  • Lead a team of filing professionals to assist in the statutory filing process.
