Job Description

USLI is seeking part-time candidates to join its Instant Access Service Center.  Candidates will provide billing and payment assistance to policyholders and their insurance representatives through incoming telephone calls, emails and chats while projecting the “USLI Experience” through excellent customer service. Candidates will conduct research and follow up with callers to effectively resolve questions within established service time frames, help callers with non-billing related issues in accordance with team guidelines and project a professional, enthusiastic, caring attitude while working effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is part time, subject to a maximum of 29 hours per week, year-round.  Salary is $25.75 per hour. Typical work hours are between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday depending on the needs of the team. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist teammates and help with additional projects, training and reporting as requested by leadership.

Specific Skills:

Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, a positive and friendly attitude, a service mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. Candidate must also be assertive, able to multi-task and transition efficiently between tasks.

Minimum Job Requirements:

1 to 2 years of business experience. Experience within the insurance industry and/or a call center is preferred but not required.  Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office is required.
