Job Description

USLI is seeking individuals to sort, process, prepare, and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with company goals in addition to providing administrative support to internal and external customers. Qualified candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work with a team in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and possess a customer service mindset.

This position is a developmental role requiring in-person job shadowing, team building and foundational insurance education. On-site presence 75% of the time is necessary to meet the requirements of this role. Additional details may be discussed with the hiring leader.

Essential Functions:

Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail. Process daily mail on Neopost IN700 mail machine. Prepare outgoing Express and Ground mail via FedEx. Input and record incoming premium information on company check log. Continuously monitor and disperse the outgoing mail bins throughout the company. Monitor Mailroom printers, print and process Direct Bill Invoices, Cancellation Notices, and Post Office Logs on a daily basis. Process documents through Neopost DS200 inserting machine. Sort and mail outgoing policies by customer name. Use the Customer Information Reports and FedEx address books to prepare shipping labels for outgoing mail.  Run and process the “Issued Not Sent” report. Verify loss runs requests and distribute to customers, process closures and Non-Monetary endorsements. Process undeliverable Cancellation Notices returned via USPS. Monitor stock of mailing and shipping materials and request supplies as needed. Oversee and backup the sorting and processing of imports. Expedite all special mailings as required.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist internal customers with mailings, deliver incoming packages to designated recipients, and maintain an upbeat and positive attitude in all dealings with internal and external customers in respect to the company Care2 values. Complete other tasks as necessary.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Some business experience preferred. Insurance-related educational coursework desired but not required.
