Job Description
• Candidate will assist in development and submission of statutory product filings including rates/rules and form filings nationwide.
• Technical Underwriting – The position requires underwriting expertise in some areas of insurance and that the individual be a quick study on areas outside of their primary area. 
• Teamwork – This individual should be a strong team player able to work with people both on the filing team and in other departments.  They will need to be able to create an atmosphere of assistance and cooperation with other teams.
• Analysis – This person must be able to organize data and analyze it to identify filing needs and express filing approvals effective to Underwriting Technology. The person must be a skillful business writer, able to organize their thoughts, write concisely and persuasively.
• Organization – The individual will be well organized and a self-starter. They will be effective at working independently.
• Presentation Skills – Be able to effectively communicate filing needs to interested parties. Be able to effectively present their findings in a small meeting with leadership or in a seminar setting with a larger group, as required. 
• Continuing Education - Expand insurance knowledge by studying for and taking insurance courses internally and externally to improve both professional and personal development.
