Your Role: You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service to insurance agents and brokers. You will handle a high volume of incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, and deliver the "USLI Experience" by maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. This role is part-time, subject to a maximum of 29 hours per week, year-round, and is based in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer support: Answer a high volume of incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to insurance agents and brokers.

  • Communication: Occasionally send emails as needed to assist customers with inquiries.

  • Service excellence: Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude with every interaction to deliver the “USLI Experience.”

  • Learning and application: Learn foundational insurance concepts and apply knowledge to help customers with their needs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Customer service experience: Minimum of two years of customer service experience in any industry.

  • Technical skills: Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving abilities.

  • Adaptability: Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them to customer interactions.

  • Dependability: A proactive, reliable approach to work and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma required.

  • Location: Must be able to commute to the Wayne, PA office and work on-site.

  • Schedule: Available to work between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, for up to 29 hours per week with a fixed weekly schedule.

Salary Range:

  • Starting hourly rate of $25.75 with eligibility for year-end pay increase and bonus.

  • Full-time opportunities may be available after a minimum of 18 months for successful candidates.
