Job Title: Summer Legal Intern (Part-time)

Your Role: You will work directly with our General Counsel, the legal team and other teams throughout the company.  You will be expected to learn about the company’s business while assisting in various legal initiatives, including responding to subpoenas, conducting legal research, reviewing commercial agreements, drafting legal documents and assisting on special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation: Preparing initial drafts of letters, notices, and other legal documents
  • Contract Review: Reviewing commercial agreements and making revision recommendations
  • Legal Research: Conducting research on various legal issues and drafting legal memoranda
  • Subpoena Response: Responding to subpoenas and internal team member requests
  • Compliance Support: Other legal and compliance-related tasks as necessary

What You’ll Bring:

  • Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills and exact attention to detail
  • Collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Communication proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database systems (experience with AIM is a plus)
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Experience: Prior insurance, accounting or compliance experience is beneficial but not required

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in or entering their second or third year of law school
  • Candidates must be willing to work on-site at our Wayne, Pennsylvania, campus
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism, good judgement and strong legal skills, including effective legal research, drafting and communication
  • This position has the potential to carry through the fall semester if mutually agreed upon by the intern and leadership

Salary Range: $20 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis
