Job Title: Junior Worksite Planning Specialist
Location: Wayne, PA

Your Role: In this role, you will support the design and planning of our Wayne campus and branch office workspaces to ensure they are functional, safe and enjoyable places to work. You’ll assist with the layout and furnishing of office and communal spaces, maintain accurate records for projects, seating assignments and company vehicles, and work alongside the director of worksite planning to coordinate with vendors, architects and contractors during project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Building design projects: Assist in the development of detailed space plans and layouts for new and existing offices using AutoCAD and SketchUp
Project lifecycle support: Support projects from the initial programming and development phase through order entry and final installation
Furniture standards and tracking: Assist with selecting office and communal furniture and finishes, and maintain consistent records across all locations
Space management: Maintain current building floor plans and seating assignments for all locations
Facilities analysis: Assist the director of worksite planning in analyzing space usage for current and future needs
Community safety: Support workplace safety initiatives and the maintenance of building access systems
Safety communications: Draft and distribute quarterly safety communications
Company vehicle management: Maintain documentation for company vehicles and drivers
Vehicle scheduling: Coordinate and oversee scheduling for company vehicle rentals
What You’ll Bring:
Interior design skills: Demonstrate creativity, problem-solving and a basic understanding of design principles and space usage
Code knowledge: Possess foundational knowledge of building codes and space requirements
Organizational skills: Manage multiple responsibilities, projects and deadlines with precision
Project coordination: Be proactive in keeping projects on track and moving forward
Independence and collaboration: Work both autonomously and as part of a team, communicating ideas clearly
Flexibility: Prioritize effectively, adapt to changing needs and manage shifting tasks
Attention to detail: Maintain a strong focus on thoroughness and quality in all work
Qualifications:
Education: College degree in Interior Design or equivalent industry/business experience
Experience: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Excel
