Clear and thorough documentation will reflect activity and outcomes throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program oversight: Ensure the quality assurance of the SIU/Fraud program

  • Regulatory compliance: Complete annual reporting to the state of California and report fraud to applicable state fraud units

  • Customer service: Respond to internal and external inquiries the same day via phone and email, adhering to established claim service promises

  • Special projects: Assist with completion of projects assigned

  • Ongoing development: Enroll in continuing education to maintain state licenses and support personal and professional growth through the annual Individual Development Plan

What You’ll Bring:

  • Customer focus: Strong commitment to service and responsiveness

  • Clear communication: Excellent oral and written skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders

  • Critical analysis: Ability to identify key issues, evaluate evidence, and apply sound judgment

  • Strong organization: Time management and prioritization skills in handling multiple investigations

  • Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Technical proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and accurate keyboarding

Qualifications:

  • Education: College degree or equivalent industry designations or experience

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant claims experience, such as examiner, adjuster, paralegal, attorney/lawyer, or other transferable roles

  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with liability and/or first-party property, multi-jurisdictional claims, or advanced degrees is a plus, with a willingness to pursue continuing insurance education and adjuster licensing

Passion and drive can be just as important as experience. If you’re excited about this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!
