Your Role: In this role, you will support the creation, review and maintenance of policy forms across our products within the Legal and Compliance team. You will research, draft and revise forms while ensuring accuracy, clarity and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will also play a key role in supporting policy form rewrites and driving consistency and efficiency in form language, including exploring opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence to enhance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form drafting: Draft, revise and review new and existing policy forms, endorsements and applications

  • Research analysis: Conduct regulatory and industry research to support form development and updates

  • Form rewrites: Assist with policy form rewrites to improve clarity, consistency and compliance

  • Regulatory updates: Review and implement state-required changes, including amendatories, within required timelines

  • Documentation tracking: Track and document form changes, including rationale and regulatory drivers

  • Language accuracy: Ensure all form language is clear, concise and aligned with business intent

  • Process efficiency: Support timely turnaround of form reviews and identify opportunities to improve workflows

  • AI integration: Evaluate and leverage artificial intelligence tools to enhance drafting efficiency and simplify language while maintaining compliance

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with compliance, underwriting, claims and state filings teams to align form development with business needs

What You’ll Bring:

  • Insurance expertise: Strong knowledge of ISO forms, proprietary forms and state-specific regulatory requirements

  • Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial P&C insurance concepts and policy structures

  • Communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex information and manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Analytical skills: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend improvements

  • Regulatory interpretation: Ability to interpret multijurisdictional compliance requirements and translate them into clear form language

  • Technology mindset: Comfort using artificial intelligence and other tools to improve efficiency and document quality

  • Collaboration skills: Ability to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with business partners

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, law or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in policy form drafting, compliance, legal, regulatory filings, underwriting support, product development or a related field

  • Technical knowledge: Working knowledge of insurance policy forms, endorsements, applications and product development

  • Industry familiarity: Experience with commercial insurance products and form change management processes

  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and SERFF, with the ability to manage detailed documents and tracked changes

  • AI experience: Experience or demonstrated ability to leverage artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency and consistency preferred
